KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a plan of measures to implement the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) program for Ukraine, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
“In parallel with our movement in the EU, we have the ambition to become a member of the OECD… This summer, the OECD program for Ukraine was launched, opening the way to joining the organization. Today the government will approve a plan of measures for the implementation of this program,” Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Friday.
According to him, the plan of measures includes 129 points in various areas: from government regulation to the development of science and education.
“We are talking about high-quality, time-tested government policies that will help us build a modern, effective state,” Shmyhal emphasized.
