By KYIV. Dec 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Government of Ukraine has increased the revenue and expenditure parts of the Pension Fund budget by UAH 12.6 billion to ensure the appointment and accrual of subsidies through the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Friday.
"Since December 1, people can apply for a subsidy in one of three convenient ways: to the Center for the Provision of Administrative Services or to an authorized representative of local authorities; in electronic form through the portal Diia; to the Pension Fund service center or through the web portal or mobile application of the Fund," the Prime Minister said.
According to him, Ukrainians who received subsidies last year will be reassigned automatically.
Shmyhal stressed that utility tariffs will remain unchanged this winter, and sufficient funds have been allocated to fully finance all subsidies that about 3 million families will receive.
"We are making the subsidy system flexible and effective to help, first of all, those families who need it more. Everyone who has been granted subsidies will definitely receive them in full," the Prime Minister said.
