By KYIV. Dec 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has provided the Ministry of Defense with the opportunity to create media entities and official print publications.
As representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk said on Telegram, the corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Tuesday.
In particular, in order to bring into line with the law of March 21, 2023 “On Amendments to certain laws of Ukraine on improving certain issues of military duty and military service”, amendments were made to the regulations on the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Thus, it is envisaged that the Ministry of Defense establishes the ratio of the number of officers, sergeants and seniors by military ranks and the maximum duration of stay of such persons in the armed forces; determines the procedure for the direction and duration of stay of military personnel of the Armed Forces, including in international organizations; creates subjects in the field of media and official printed publications.
