KYIV. Nov 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the General Staff of the Czech Republic, General Karel Řehka, and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhny, discussed during a personal meeting in Kyiv the development of the security situation and other possibilities of Czech support.
“Chief of the General Staff Řehka held talks in Kyiv with his Ukrainian counterpart General Zaluzhny and other partners of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. They discussed the current development of the security situation and other opportunities for Czech support, training and exchange of experience,” the Czech Armed Forces said on its X page (formerly Twitter).
Řehka assured that the Czech Republic would continue to help Ukraine.
“Our consultations are necessary precisely so that assistance to Ukraine has the maximum possible effect. I really appreciate the important information provided to us by our Ukrainian partners. Thus, our army acquires invaluable experience,” General Řehka commented on the meeting.
