Contracts will be signed on supply of rails, prefabricated bridges to Ukraine during visit to France – Shmyhal

KYIV. Dec 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – During the visit to France, contracts will be signed for the supply of rails and prefabricated bridges to Ukraine, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

"There are already specific agreements on the supply of rails to Ukraine for the so-called "fast recovery" period. When we need to live today, when we need to survive today, the railway plays a key decisive role in this war, providing logistics for both the civilian population and military purposes. Of course, this will be one of the most important contracts. At this conference, we will also sign other contracts for the supply of French prefabricated bridges. We will have contracts on cooperation in the digital sphere, and a number of financial and other agreements," Shmyhal said in an interview with the French TV channel LCI-TF1, commenting on the upcoming international conference and international economic forum in France.

The prime minister also said that negotiations are underway on cooperation in the medium and long term in various fields.

"We will talk about this with French business at the economic forum, which will be the second part of this extensive conference," he summed up.
