KYIV. Oct 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The amount of destroyed Russian equipment and stocks of logistics centers in occupied Crimea will increase, and the situation with the Kerch Bridge will be resolved “when necessary,” a representative of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov said.
“At the same time, comprehensive work continues on the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories, and, of course, in Crimea as well. And the fact that the occupiers today really do not feel safe is a fact. And the amount of equipment and logistics centers, reserves destroyed there is only increasing and will continue to grow. As well as the destroyed personnel,” Yusov said during a telethon on Tuesday.
Speaking about the future fate of the Kerch Bridge, Yusov said “everything will happen, and it will happen when it’s needed.”
“The bridge issue should not be perceived as a wish for the New Year, although it is a logical and natural wish for many people. But everything will happen when it needs to,” he said.
Commenting on the situation with the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the coming winter, Yusov said “the ideal wintering option for the Russian Black Sea Fleet is based on the model of the cruiser Moskva.”
“This is the best prospect for them. Yes, for several months they [the Russians] have been taking measures to transfer ships, submarines, part of the headquarters infrastructure, remove them from Crimea and settle them in Novorossiysk,” he said.
The intelligence said that since the port in Novorossiysk is not sufficiently prepared, other sites in the occupied territories of third countries are being considered.
