KYIV. Dec 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The deficit of the state budget of Ukraine in November rose to a record level of UAH 170 billion from UAH 143.4 billion a month earlier, including the general fund – up to UAH 163.3 billion from UAH 147.1 billion, the Ministry of Finance reported on its website.

According to its data, state budget cash expenditures also set a record in November – UAH 312.7 billion, including the general fund – UAH 260.5 billion, while in October-September they were equal to UAH 222.5 billion and UAH 233.1 billion.

In general, in January-November 2022, the state budget of Ukraine was executed with a deficit of UAH 810.5 billion, including the general fund – UAH 807.5 billion, with the planned deficit of the general fund for this period of UAH 1.282 trillion.

The deficit in November-October turned out to be closer to the figures of June and May – UAH 134.9 billion and UAH 113.4 billion, respectively, which is also associated with a decrease in grant funding, which came mainly from the United States, which is taken into account as state budget revenues. In July-August, when the budget was financed mainly from this source, the deficit was about UAH 5 billion per month.

The Ukrainian government said back in the spring that it estimated the war-induced monthly budget deficit at about $5 billion in 2022. For 2023, it is planned to reduce it to $3-3.5 billion.

Without significant grant funding, revenues from the general fund of the state budget in November amounted to UAH 94.4 billion compared to UAH 72.8 billion in October and UAH 156.1 billion in September.

In general, for 11 months, cash expenditures of the state budget amounted to UAH 2.293 trillion, including the general fund – UAH 2.079 trillion.
