By KYIV. Dec 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The deployment of the U.S. Patriot system in Ukraine will strengthen the security of not only Ukrainians, but also Poles, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak has said.
"The deployment of the American Patriot system in Ukraine will strengthen the security of not only Ukrainians, but also Poles. This is an excellent decision by the U.S. administration. The opposition, which announced the ‘impossibility’ of transferring air defense systems to Ukraine, has once again discredited itself," he said on Twitter.
