Dpty Defense Minister leaves for Brussels: We’re working on deepening cooperation with NATO at all levels

KYIV. Nov 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Pavliuk has announced a visit to Brussels to hold meetings with NATO partners and participate in a meeting of the Defense and Security Committee of the Ukraine-NATO Council.

“On a working visit to Brussels. Bilateral meetings of our delegation with partners in the Alliance are on the agenda. In particular, with Assistant Secretary General of NATO for Operations, Mr. Thomas Goffus, as well as Director of the DEEP program, Mariusz Solis. We are working to deepen cooperation with the Alliance at all levels,” he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Military education and issues of mine clearance of territories are also in the focus of attention.

In addition, according to the Deputy Minister, it is planned to participate in the “first full-fledged” meeting of the Defense and Security Committee of the Ukraine-NATO Council, created in pursuance of the decisions of the Vilnius NATO Summit.
