KYIV. Dec 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – DTEK commissioned another TPP power unit with a capacity of up to 150 MW after a major overhaul.
“We have completed another major overhaul and introduced a power unit of one of the company’s thermal power plants into the energy system. This is one of the units that was seriously damaged as a result of massive enemy attacks last heating season,” DTEK said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Monday.
The company noted that the capacity added to the grid is already in operation and is carrying a load that is planned to be increased to 150 MW in the near future.
As part of the annual planned repair campaign, DTEK has already carried out 24 repairs of power units at its thermal power plants, the report clarifies.
As reported, in total, in 2023, DTEK planned to carry out repairs at 27 power units, investments in which were estimated at approximately UAH 3.9 billion.
By the beginning of the winter period, the company had repaired all 19 power units that were planned to be repaired at that time.
