By KYIV. Dec 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 85 missile and 35 air strikes, in addition to 63 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says in a report published on Friday morning.
The occupiers are trying to conduct an offensive in the Bakhmut direction and improve the tactical situation in the Lyman and Kupiansk directions.
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Stelmakhivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Soledar, Ivankivske, Klischiyivka, Kamianka, Avdiyivka, Vesele, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka and Maryinka in Donetsk region.
In the Volyn, Polissia, Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the situation remains unchanged, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been found.
In the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy fired artillery at the areas of the settlements of Leonivka, Chernihiv region; Pavlivka – Sumy region; Hlyboke, Zelene, Ternova, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Bochkove and Chuhunivka in Kharkiv region. In addition, the occupiers used army aviation to strike near Velyka Pysarivka, Sumy region.
On the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the areas of 17 settlements suffered from the fire impact.
In the Bakhmut direction, the aggressor fired at the areas of 20 settlements.
In the Avdiyivka direction, the enemy inflicted a fiery defeat near Avdiyivka, Vesele, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka of Donetsk region, in addition, the invaders launched air strikes near Kamianka and Avdiyivka.
In the direction of Novopavlivsk, the invaders fired from tanks and cannon artillery near Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka and Neskuchne of Donetsk region. In addition, the invaders launched an air strike in the Nikolske area.
More than 25 settlements fell under enemy fire in the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions.
The enemy’s operational-tactical and army aviation operated in the areas of Huliaipole and Stepove of Zaporizhia region and Novosilka of Kherson region.
Over the past day, the aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted 12 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, military equipment of the occupiers and a strike on the position of the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile system.
Missile troops and artillery units hit five command posts, five areas of concentration of manpower and the occupants’ ammunition depot.
