Enemy propaganda attacks IT system of situational awareness of AFU

KYIV. Nov 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A new wave of information attacks on the situational awareness system used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has reported.

"Today, Russian propaganda resources have launched a new information and psychological operation of the enemy (IPSO), namely, information is being distributed about the alleged hacking of the situational awareness system used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This IPSO was started by the enemy right now for a reason, because the recently updated version of this system was successfully presented at the annual conference of experts and developers of NATO Tide Sprint," the message says.

The enemy began to attack the system in order to discredit it and spread information about the alleged hacking and access to its data on the network of propaganda resources.

Thus, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informs that the system works stably, the data in it is reliably protected, unauthorized intrusions are not recorded.

"The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is aware that the information systems and tools used by our defenders are a strategic target for the enemy, as is the critical or energy infrastructure of the country. At the same time, the Defense Department states that this IPSO of the enemy is a failure," the message reads.
