Energy system of Ukraine remains stable, services eliminating consequences of Russian attacks – Shmyhal

KYIV. Dec 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The energy system of Ukraine after a massive missile strike on Saturday, December 31, remains stable, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said.

"The Russians want to intimidate us, leave us in the dark for the new year, cause as much damage as possible to civilian infrastructure. Despite this, our energy system remains stable. All services are working to eliminate the consequences of attacks," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.

He noted that as a result of Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure in different regions of Ukraine, residential buildings, hotels, shops, and a venue for holidays were damaged. There are dead and wounded.

"Russia and its terrorist troops will be punished for every missile," the prime minister concluded.
