KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday he had discussed fertilizer exports with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Anadolu agency said.
"I discussed the possibility of starting the export of fertilizers, as well as grain, during negotiations with the presidents of Russia and Ukraine," Turkish media said, citing Erdogan.
He also said the implementation of the "grain deal" should mainly be aimed at helping African countries.
Erdogan said Ankara and Moscow agreed on grain supplies to Djibouti, Somalia and Sudan.
In addition, the Turkish leader indicated that "more extensive steps" regarding the "grain deal" would be taken soon.
