KYIV. May 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The European Council has extended temporary trade liberalisation with Ukraine for another year, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
“The European Council today extended temporary trade liberalisation with Ukraine for another year. This means that Ukrainian businesses will not pay any duties, quotas, and tariffs when exporting goods to the EU until at least June 2024,” he wrote on his Telegram channel on Thursday.
The prime minister expressed gratitude to the European partners for the decision, which, according to him, will help Ukrainian business and the country’s economy in extremely difficult military conditions.
