By KYIV. Jan 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupiers are focusing their main efforts on attempts to completely capture Donetsk region, and are taking offensive actions in Bakhmut direction.
"[The enemy] is trying to take control of the town of Soledar and the supply routes of our units, is suffering heavy losses, the fighting continues," according to operational information on the Russian invasion as of 18:00 on Wednesday, posted on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The invaders are also conducting unsuccessful offensive actions in Avdiyivka direction.
The enemy is trying to improve the tactical situation in Kupyansk and Novopavlivka directions, and in Lyman, Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, it is defending itself, the report says.
