BRUSSELS. May 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – High Representative of the European Union Josep Borrell will take part in the meeting of the G7 foreign ministers, which will discuss the further reaction to the war waged by Russia against Ukraine and its consequences.
The corresponding announcement was made by representative of the European Commission Dana Spinant on Thursday in Brussels. "High Representative Borrell will take part in the meeting of the G7 Foreign Ministers, which will be held in Germany. Together with the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Italy, the UK, Japan, Canada and the U.S., he will discuss the ongoing response to Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as its negative consequences, especially in countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia," she said.
In addition, European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson will be in Moldova to discuss "how to support the country and those who are fleeing the war."
