KYIV. Dec 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A government bill on lobbying will be registered in the Verkhovna Rada in the near future, Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk said.
“The recommendation of the European Commission was that we need to adopt a law on lobbying in accordance with European standards … The government has already developed the necessary bill. I think it will be registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine next week,” Stefanchuk said in an interview with the TV channel We are Ukraine, which was broadcast by the national telethon on Tuesday.
According to the speaker, there will be no problems with the adoption of the bill and it will take into account all the recommendations of the European Commission.
He recalled that four draft laws on lobbying have already been registered in Parliament.
