KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposes that the Verkhovna Rada introduces fines from UAH 1,020 to 8,500 for violation of the procedure and rules for using Ukrainian airspace when operating unmanned aerial vehicles.
Bill No. 8186 has been registered in the Parliament.
The government considers it necessary to amend the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine, namely to supplement Article 111 with new rules on establishing administrative responsibility for violating the procedure and rules for using the airspace of Ukraine when operating an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and committing such an offense repeatedly within a year.
So, violations, including the creation of radio interference or UAVs of law enforcement agencies while ensuring public order and security, countering offenses, protecting human rights and freedoms, can result in a fine in the amount of 60 to 400 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, that is, from UAH 1,020 up to UAH 6,800. At the same time, for the repeated commission of any of these violations during the year, a fine in the amount of 400 to 500 non-taxable minimum incomes (UAH 6,800-8,500) with confiscation of the UAV will be provided.
