KYIV. Sept 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Submission of protocols on administrative violations drawn up by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) to the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) may block the work of the HACC, Head of the court Vira Mykhailenko believes.
In an interview with Interfax-Ukraine, she said that over the four years of HACC’s work, legislative changes were made that significantly expanded the powers of the court, which affects the workload of judges.
“The issue of further expansion of jurisdiction is currently relevant, since it is provided for by the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025, although the proposed option for the implementation of the relevant instructions – the transfer of all protocols on administrative offenses drawn up by the NACP to HACC for consideration – may block the work of the court,” she said.
