Heat supply is available for 84% of Kherson residents, Khmelnytsky regional hospital receives 200 kW generator from Italy – Tymoshenko

KYIV. Jan 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The district heating system in Kherson provides 84% ​​of the city’s consumers, Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko has said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

"Water supply has been restored in almost the entire city. At the same time, the situation in the region is more complicated. As of today, only 25% of settlements have water," Tymoshenko said.

According to him, the first mobile concrete shelter installed in the city center was delivered to Kherson, in the near future the city will receive several more mobile shelters.

The President’s Office deputy head also said that over the last four days, some 327 people were evacuated from Kherson region, including 42 children and nine people with limited mobility.

He said in Mykolaiv area power supply is restored almost for 11,000 consumers.

Tymoshenko said that at present, the regional military administrations, together with local authorities and the State Emergency Service, have equipped more than 5,800 invincibility points (as of December 20, there were 5,520), and also received over 5,600 such proposals from business.

The President’s Office deputy head also said Khmelnytsky Regional Hospital received a powerful 200 kW generator from the Italian company Contrepair S.R.L, headed by Filippo Dellepiane. The representatives of Pokrova ODV Association and the Ukrainian communities of the cities of Genoa, Savona and Chiavari took care of all the logistics issues.

In Khmelnytsky regional hospital, both wounded fighters and migrants, as well as residents of the region, are being treated. All of them will have the opportunity to receive high-quality assistance in the event of a blackout, Tymoshenko said.
