KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – If Russia uses nuclear weapons in Ukraine, it will not exist as a state, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes.
If this happens, "the world we live in will no longer exist. It will be a completely different world. But for sure, a state that uses nuclear weapons will definitely not exist," he said at a press conference after talks with Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou in Kyiv on Thursday.
"And it will not only be a question of someone responding to nuclear strikes, but the question will be in the state itself. They will not hold either their power or their political positions in the middle of the state. They will be trying to figure out the revolutionary processes in the middle of it," Zelensky said.
According to the president, he does not look at it seriously. "Although, looking at the steps that the military-political leadership of Russia has taken on our land, these steps cannot also be called adequate or really military," he said.
