Invaders shell Sumy region with mortars, MLRS and artillery, five houses, gas pipeline damaged – region’s head

KYIV. Nov 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Monday, the Russian occupiers fired at Khotyn merged territorial community of Sumy region from multiple rocket launchers and artillery, as a result of which five private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged, head of Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytsky has said.

"The enemy hit the border village simultaneously with several types of weapons. Twenty mines, eight shells from artillery and 10 more from Grads exploded near the houses of civilians," Zhyvytsky wrote on Telegram.

He noted that at the moment it is known about at least five private houses that were significantly damaged.

"There are broken windows with frames, partially destroyed walls and roofs. The gas pipeline is also damaged," Zhyvytsky stressed.

He added that no people were injured as a result of the shelling.
