KYIV. Dec 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Domestic capabilities are sufficient to provide the Ukrainian Defense Forces with electronic warfare (EW) systems; state factories are engaged in this and more than 50 private companies have developments at different levels, Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin has said.
“Regarding electronic warfare. We have state factories that make from large systems to trench electronic warfare. And there are more than 50 private companies that have developments at different levels. The first contracts have already begun, these are the first two positions. And I am sure that in this regard our domestic capabilities are enough to provide the Defense Forces,” Kamyshin said at a press conference.
According to him, the main thing that “you need to understand about electronic warfare” is that there will be a constant struggle, because when Ukraine makes a new development, Russian troops will change frequencies and change their algorithms.
“And we must again change our algorithms in response to their changes. This will be an eternal struggle. In this regard, the matter is not about production capabilities, there are enough of them. We are establishing work with the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff to make such changes permanent and deliver a quality product to the front,” the minister added.
