KYIV. May 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – JSC Khmelnytskoblenergo will allocate UAH 6.136 million to pay dividends based on the results of financial and economic activities in 2022.
According to the company’s announcement in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission on May 4, the decision was made following the results of voting at the annual general meeting of shareholders on April 26.
It is noted that the decision to pay dividends was made taking into account Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 358 dated April 18, 2023, which approved the basic standard for deducting the share of profits of business entities with corporate rights of the state of 50% or more. According to it, such companies must direct at least 50% of their profits to pay dividends to shareholders.
According to the decision, the payment of dividends is made by the company directly to the shareholders.
As reported, the goevrnment, represented by the Energy Ministry, owns 70.0089% of the shares of Khmelnytskoblenergo.
