WASHINGTON. May 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger suggested on Sunday that with the participation of China, negotiations on the war in Ukraine could take place at the end of this year.
“Now that China has entered the negotiation, it will come to a head, I think, by the end of the year. We will be talking about negotiating processes and even actual negotiations,” Kissinnger said on CBS.
In addition, Kissinger said that he would not mind taking part in U.S. contacts with the Russian side as an adviser.
“I would be inclined to do it, yes,” Kissinger said, answering the question of whether he would have agreed to such a role if the American president had asked him for help.
