KYIV. Nov 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin and U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine’s Recovery Penny Pritzker have discussed the issues of confiscation of Russia’s sovereign assets and directing them at assistance to Ukraine.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Halifax International Security Forum, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine said on the Telegram channel on Sunday, November 19.
“Our priority is to start their confiscation as soon as possible. People should not be waiting for justice for decades,” Kostin said.
The United States’ strategic support is vitally important for Ukraine, he said. The Prosecutor General also emphasized that Ukraine is strongly determined to continue reform implementation and use the assistance provided by partners transparently.
