Kuleba to discuss need for urgent supplies of new air defense systems to Ukraine at meeting of NATO FMs in Bucharest

KYIV. Nov 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will take part in a meeting of NATO foreign ministers to be held in Bucharest on November 29-30 and discuss the need for urgent supplies of new air defense systems and weapons in general to Ukraine.

"Yes, I plan to take part in the ministerial meeting in Bucharest. I will have two very simple signals. The first will concern the delivery to Ukraine of urgently new air defense systems and in general any weapons that can help us shoot down Russian missiles and Iranian drones. And secondly, we will discuss the plan for the next 3-4 months, that is, how NATO will help Ukraine get through this difficult military winter," Kuleba said at an online briefing on Tuesday.

He clarified that this concerns not only the supply of weapons, but also non-military equipment that Ukraine needs.
