By KYIV. Nov 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The organizers and executors of the terrorist act at the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain will be severely punished, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has said.
"We will protect every Ukrainian, not only in Ukraine, but also abroad, by all means available to us. And when it is established who carried out this terrorist act, we will take all measures to ensure that this person or these people face the most severe punishment," he said on a video address on Facebook on Wednesday.
The minister also said that he has ordered all diplomatic institutions of Ukraine to strengthen security measures as soon as possible.
"This is a very serious incident. This is an attack on a diplomatic institution that is protected by international law. Now the Spanish police are investigating, we treat this as carefully as possible. And I instructed all foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine to immediately expand security measures," Kuleba said.
