Maliar corrects post about liberation of Andriyivka in Donetsk region: Situation difficult, keeping our fingers crossed for ours

KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar edited a post that Ukrainian soldiers liberated the village of Andriyivka in Bakhmut direction (Donetsk region).

“And we have good news. Andriyivka‼! The situation is very complicated and changeable, we are keeping our fingers crossed for ours,” she wrote on the Telegram channel.

She noted that Ukrainian soldiers are moving forward in Bakhmut direction.

“On the northern flank, the enemy is trying to recapture the lost positions. And we are making good progress in the south. The main battles continue in the districts of Andriyivka, Kurdiumivka, Klischiyivka,” the report says.

Earlier, the Third Separate Assault Brigade said that the statement on the liberation of the village of Andriyivka in Donetsk region was erroneous and premature.

“Now serious and heavy fighting is continuing in the areas of Klischiyivka and Andriyivka,” the brigade said in a statement on the Telegram channel.
