By BRUSSELS. Dec 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – European Council President Charles Michel called Presidents of Ukraine and Moldova Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Maia Sandu to congratulate them on the “historic turn their countries are taking.”
Michel himself announced this on his X page on Thursday.
“Just called Presidents Sandu, President Zelenskyy and Prime Minister [of Georgia] Garibashvili to congratulate them on the historic turn their countries are taking with today’s decision of the European Council. Your future lies within our EU family,” the President of the European Council said.
