By KYIV. Sept 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Based on the results of January-August 2023, the Naftogaz Group paid more than UAH 61 billion in taxes to the state budget, the company’s press service reported on Friday.
In particular, UAH 56.8 billion were sent to the state budget, which is 11.5% of the total amount of business contributions to it, and over UAH 4.4 billion went to local budgets.
“For the Naftogaz group, the country’s support is extremely important, especially now. We, as a business, are constantly working to increase our profits, which in turn affects the growth of contributions to the country’s budget,” Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov said.
As reported, the Naftogaz group transferred almost UAH 100 billion to budgets in 2022, and UAH 116 billion in 2021.
