By KYIV. Dec 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In order to improve the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the NATO Logfas program and the Korovaj software are being introduced, and an automated strategic-level command and control system has been adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov has said.
"Firstly, to improve the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the NATO program Logfas is being implemented, which is already being actively deployed to the level of brigades and will cover all of them according to the plan by the end of the year. At the same time, the Korovaj software has been introduced to process the needs of the army. Among other things, this ensures proper transparency and control over weapons and military equipment that Ukraine receives in the form of logistical assistance. Let’s say we are in close contact with our American partners and recently demonstrated the results of the implementation of these systems," he said on Facebook.
Reznikov also announced the completion of an important stage in the implementation of automated command and control systems.
On December 6, he signed an order to put into service the automated system of the Operational Control Center (DKR Dzvin-AS).
"This system successfully passed departmental tests in the spring of 2022, and then state tests. At present, all formal procedures have been completed, the strategic-level automated control system has officially joined the ranks and will work in the interests of the Armed Forces. Further, the General Staff will decide on the scaling parameters for this automated control system," he said.
In addition, the Ministry of Defense received a positive expert opinion on the Special Software Complex "Integration Platform Delta."
"This is an important stage in the formalization of the platform in accordance with the approved roadmap. This will be followed by a cycle of official tests, based on the results of which a decision will be made on adoption," Reznikov said on Facebook.
