KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – New British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held their first telephone conversation, during which they agreed to continue supporting Kyiv.
“They … agreed to continue working together to provide unequivocal support for Ukraine,” the office of the head of the UK government said.
It is noted that Sunak and Trudeau also agreed “to deepen collaboration in trade and energy security” and expressed hope for a personal meeting during the G7 meeting at the G20 in Indonesia next month.
