By KYIV. Jan 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Wednesday, Russian invaders fired at a perinatal center in Kherson, head of Kherson Regional Military Administration Yaroslav Yanushevych has said.
"Due to the explosion of a projectile fired by the enemies in Kherson, a perinatal center caught fire. A powerful blast wave broke out the windows in the children’s department and damaged one of the doctors’ offices," Yanushevych said in Telegram.
He said according to preliminary information, the center’s employees, patients and children are "alive and unharmed."
"Specialists are eliminating the consequences of a vile attack by the invaders against women with babies and doctors," Yanushevych said.
