KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Representatives of the Ukrainian military intelligence have discovered information that may indicate that Iranian drones were delivered to Russia after February 24, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
"The propeller of the Mohajer-6 drone was made in February of the current year. It was made just recently. And it also took time to deliver it to Russia. That is, they were delivered this year," the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate said.
Iranian-made drone Mohajer is assembled from the parts produced in different countries. Most of them originate from the United States. The drone also has Austrian engine and Japanese camera.
"We did not find any Russian parts here. There is an inscription in Farsi [the modern Persian language, which has the status of an official language in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan] on one of the parts. The visible range camera is made in Japan. The laser rangefinder is made in China. The aerial bomb is made in Iran," a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate said.
Ukrainian specialists are studying how foreign components ended up in Iranian drones. Serial numbers and data about manufacturers of components have already been handed over to partner countries by the staff of the Main Intelligence Directorate.
