Poland intends to transfer over 50 Krab self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine

KYIV. Dec 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Poland has already transferred 18 Krab self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine, and is preparing to transfer 56 more, the PAP agency said on Sunday.

“AHS Krab is a self-propelled howitzer on a tracked chassis manufactured by Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. Poland transferred 18 such vehicles from the reserves of the Polish Army to Ukraine,” the agency said in a statement.

They recalled that a contract for the production and transfer of 56 Krab was also signed between Kyiv and Warsaw.

It is reported that since the beginning of Russian military operations against Ukraine, Poland has also transferred Piorun man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems, Grot carbines, PT-91, T-72, Leopard 2 tanks, and MiG-29 aircraft to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Deliveries of Rak self-propelled mortar systems and Rosomak infantry fighting vehicles (in the amount of 100 pieces) are being prepared.
