Poland refutes 'fakes' of Belarus about large number of Ukrainian refugees

KYIV. Nov 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Commissioner of the Polish Government for Information Space Security Stanisław Żaryn refuted the statements of the public agencies of the Republic of Belarus about the allegedly large number of Ukrainian refugees trying to get from Poland to Belarus.

"A press release informing about the allegedly mass migration of Ukrainians to Belarus was published on the website of the Belarusian Border Committee," Żaryn said on Twitter.

He said that, in his opinion, Belarusian propaganda continues to falsify reality, in particular, about the role of Belarus in the war against Ukraine.

He said Belarusian propaganda once again hints that Ukrainians fleeing Russian aggression are seeking asylum in Belarus, perceiving this country as safer than the EU countries.

"Minsk explicitly points out that Ukrainian refugees came to Belarus via EU countries," Żaryn said.
