By KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense of Poland Mariusz Błaszczak asked Germany to deploy Patriot systems in Ukraine, which were previously offered to Poland.
"After further missile attacks by Russia, I turned to Germany with a request to transfer the Patriot batteries offered to Poland to Ukraine and place them on the western border. This will protect Ukraine from further casualties and blackouts and improve security on our eastern border," Błaszczak said on Twitter.
