Polish truckers not allowed blocking Yahodyn-Dorohusk BCP – media

KYIV. Dec 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Dorohusk municipality Wojciech Sawa did not allow a new protest of truck drivers on the road leading to the Yahodyn-Dorohusk border crossing point (BCP) on the border with Ukraine, RMF24 reported on Wednesday.

By revoking permission to protest of truckers on the road leading to the border crossing with Ukraine, Sawa referred to the precondition provided for by law – a threat to property of significant size, RMF24 reported.

The protesting drivers do not agree with Dorohusk’s decision to revoke permission to hold the protest.

“The drivers said they would appeal to the court and also file new protest petitions in several places,” RMF24 said.
