Nov 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Fifth President of Ukraine, MP (European Solidarity faction) Petro Poroshenko has handed over the Poseidon UAV complex to the Eyes of Artillery project to the scouts of the 131st battalion, which participated in the liberation of Snihurivka and the territory of Kherson region.
"A pair of sharp eyes and strong wings is what our defenders need to destroy Russians every day. Especially now, when it is necessary to throw them out not only from the right–bank Kherson region, but also from the left-bank," the press service of the European Solidarity party quoted Poroshenko as saying.
According to him, the unit’s scouts received an improved complex with updated software.
The MP also noted that the soldiers of the 131st intelligence battalion had been thoroughly trained. "And we welcome them today, because this is the first release of our joint operator training program for Poseidon," the fifth president noted.
"Today, the whole south of Ukraine is in safe hands," he summed up.
