By KYIV. Dec 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in an evening video address, expressed condolences to the families and friends of those killed as a result of Russian strikes on Kherson during the day.
“Today [on December 3], the Russian occupiers struck at Kherson once again. Brutal strikes. Straight at the city… Houses. Streets. Our hospitals. As of now, two people have been reported dead. My condolences to the families and friends,” Zelenskyy said.
According to him, all the wounded have been provided with the necessary assistance. The head of state thanked everyone who is helping to remove the consequences of the shelling and providing assistance to people.
The head of state also said, in general, in these days alone, over 20 Russian strikes were carried out in Kherson region. “Purely terrorist in nature,” Zelensky said.
As reported, on December 3, at about 15:30, the Russian military massively shelled the city of Kherson using cannon artillery, as a result of which a woman who was on the street died. Another person died later.
