By KYIV. Dec 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak has welcomed the 9th package of sanctions introduced by the European Union against Russia, however, surprised at the decision to provide partial relief to Russian oligarchs.
"We welcome European Union’s latest sanctions package but are surprised at decision to cave in to Russia’s pressure and provide partial relief to six Russian oligarchs. It is Putin and his friends who make the world starve, and it is they who will benefit financially from this decision," he said on Twitter on Friday.
