By KYIV. Jan 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A 36-hour pause announced by Putin between Russian attacks on the territory of Ukraine will not improve the prospects for peace, British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly is convinced.
"A 36-hour pause of Russian attacks will do nothing to advance the prospects for peace," he said on Twitter.
"Russia must permanently withdraw its forces, relinquish its illegal control of Ukrainian territory and end its barbaric attacks against innocent civilians," he said.
