Rada creates temporary investigative commission to check Bureau of Economic Security

KYIV. Dec 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Verkhovna Rada has created a temporary investigative commission to verify and evaluate the effectiveness of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine (BES).

Some 324 deputies voted for corresponding draft resolution No. 8264 on the formation of the Commission to investigate possible violations of the law by officials of the BES, state authorities exercising powers in the field of economic security, which could lead to a decrease in revenues to the state and local budgets.
