Renome venture fund buys 4.3% of PINbank shares

KYIV. May 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Renome mutual venture non-diversified closed-end investment fund managed by Asset Management Company Renome-2008 LLC increased its stake in PINbank (Kyiv) from 1.6% to 5.9478%.

According to the bank’s report in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, on May 24 it received a report from the asset management company about the acquisition of PINbank’s 1 million shares by the fund on May 23, after which its stake grew to 1.368 million shares.

Earlier it was reported that on March 13, 2023, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) rejected the appeal of Russian citizen Yevgeny Giner against the decision of the trial court dated February 27, 2023 to turn his 88.890583% stake in PINbank into state revenue.

“The decision entered into force from the moment of its announcement and is not subject to appeal in cassation,” the HACC said then in a statement. At the same time, there is no information on the transfer of these shares to state ownership.

PINbank ranked 56th among 65 banks operating in the country in terms of total assets (UAH 1 billion 81.78 million) at the beginning of April 2023.
