By KYIV. Dec 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian army is physically destroying every town and village so that there are no buildings that can be used for defense, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video statement Thursday.
"Since the beginning of these days, Russia has already shelled Kherson more than 16 times! Only for one day! The masses of Kharkoi region were again shelled. In Donbas, as in all previous weeks, brutal Russian attacks continue. The occupiers are throwing everyone and everything they have into the offensive. They cannot defeat our army, so they physically destroy every city and village so that there are no buildings that can be used for any defense," he also said.
According to the president, "the only way to stop this is to push back step by step the Russian terrorists from Ukrainian soil. It is to look for new ways to bring every Russian terrorist, every Russian oligarch helping a terrorist state, and every Russian official and propagandist, to account for everything they do."
