Russian occupiers fire artillery at refugee column in Kherson region, there are wounded – Vilkul

KYIV. May 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Thursday evening, the invaders carried out artillery shelling of a column of refugees, which was leaving Kherson region, head of the military administration of Kryvy Rih Oleksandr Vilkul said.

"A peaceful convoy of refugees, who were leaving Kherson region from the direction of Beryslav, was fired from the artillery. The orcs gathered them in the morning, kept about a 1,000 vehicles under the scorching sun and began to release only after lunch in batches of 200 vehicles to cover the movement of their own military equipment. At 16.00 the orcs dealt a vile blow on a peaceful column, which was already in our controlled territory in the area of ​​Bila Krynytsia," he wrote in the telegram channel.

Vilkul specified that civilians, including a child born in 2011, suffered from the explosion of shells. Together with a woman born in 1954, he received shrapnel wounds.

"They got all the help they needed. The woman is in one of the hospitals in Kryvy Rih" the head of Kryvy Rih military administration said.
