KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Russian occupying troops shelled Kherson and damaged the building of the Red Cross, a fire broke out, Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.
"The occupiers fired on the city. Enemy shells hit the premises where representatives of the Red Cross work. A serious fire broke out due to the shelling. Rescuers are working. There is no information about the victims," he wrote on the Telegram channel on Sunday evening.
"The enemy knew where he was striking," Tymoshenko wrote. "During the shelling of the same building in mid-December, volunteer and member of the Red Cross Rapid Response Team Viktoria Yaryshko was killed."
