KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The moral and psychological state of the mobilized citizens of the Russian Federation undergoing military training in Kursk and Bryansk regions is deteriorating due to the discrepancy between the picture drawn by Russian propaganda and the real situation in the army of the aggressor country, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Wednesday.
"The mobilized Russian citizens undergoing training in Kursk and Bryansk regions have a significantly deteriorating moral and psychological state due to the difference between the picture of Russian propaganda from the actual situation, inhumane conditions of stay and the lack of promised payments," the report says.
In addition, it is noted that the Russian units undergoing training in the area of the town of Baranovichi, Brest region (Belarus), were handed over obsolete weapons and property – metal helmets of the World War II model and protective equipment of the period of 60-70 years of the last century.
"In addition, a significant part of small arms, namely AK-74 assault rifles, are inoperable due to poor storage conditions," the General Staff summed up.
